Did you know that there are thousands of homeless people throughout Macomb County? Over 12,000 of these people include kids!
On Friday, January 19th, 2018, Macomb Feeding the Need and all willing participants will spend the night living like the homeless on the streets of Macomb County. We will be camped out on the inside the Roseville Masonic Center 27151 Gratoit Ave. Roseville, MI 48066 from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. A minimum registration fee of $25 will be required but participants are asked to get additional financial pledges and donations from their friends and family in exchange for their commitment to spending the night homeless.
Every dollar raised will help Macomb Feeding the Need to care for the thousands of needy and homeless people throughout Macomb County each year through its lifesaving programs, including: providing hot meals, brown bag lunches, clothing, coats, blankets, toiletries, a warming center and assistance with medical and dental services, temporary housing and shelter services, and facilitating community relations with local area businesses, law enforcement and community members.
